Palm Springs is an amazing destination for local and international travelers. Many travelers use this desert paradise as a relief from winter in cooler climates, and Palm Springs International Airport offers a direct route into the greater Palm Springs area. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and John Wayne International Airport (SNA) are the two closest airports outside of Palm Springs, but require additional commute into the area, generally between 1.5 and 2.5 hours via motor transit.
